Client List

Jonathan's client portfolio covers mainstream companies such as Easyjet to specialist outdoor industry ones such as Patagonia and Black Diamond. Whilst alot of the work is very much freelance he has also undertaken plenty of contractual work which entails organising and co-ordinating multi-day shoots with various models in differing locations. "I am in my element when I organise the whole shoot as it allows me to really focus on what the client wants out of the job. I know that with sufficient time and a good flexible plan I can always get what the client is looking for". His field of work is very much Alps based, whether that be France or Switzerland, but he is always happy to go abroad as well in search for those jaw-dropping shots.

Jonathan made a huge effort to organise and carry out the 5 day shoot in difficult conditions. Everyone in the office thinks the images he produced were sensational and we are looking forward to working with him again- Angela Turley, Berghaus

Published Work

Jonathan has had work published in all the major UK and US climbing and ski magazines. Along with his images he has also had written articles published- "I really enjoy writing when I get them time- it's all very well inspiring people through imagery but if you can do it through words as well then all the better. My photography has taken me to some really exceptional places and its always a joy to know that someone may be planning a trip to a certain destination because of an article that I wrote". Being a self-taught photographer, he is passionate about helping others discover the joy of photography and has written many photography articles to serve that point. He is also a regular contributor to UKClimbing.com- the UK's largest climbing website- writing regluar articles on photography and trip reports as well as bi-monthly gear reviews.

Jon's writing is entertaining and informative whether he is reviewing a pair of skis, the latest climbing harness or recounting his climbing adventures in the Alps. His research is thorough, he is reliable, easy to work with and creative.
His photography articles are very popular and tackle complex concepts that he explains in simple terms. A rare talent indeed.
